Natalie is our Operations and Shop Manager. After owning and operating a florist in Perth, she returned to New Zealand with her family and joined Amy’s in 2018. Nat combines extensive flower and business experience with exceptional people skills, helping staff and customers feel genuinely valued. Outside Amy’s, she is a devoted dog mum, a talented singer and a lover of music and theatre.
Pearl is our number one Team Therapist. She has been with us since she was eight weeks old and can often be found sleeping on the couch in the shop front. Her favourite things are cuddles, whatever you have for lunch and, above all else, her mum Natalie.
Emily is from the Isle of Wight. A UK-trained and qualified florist, she fell in love with a Kiwi and, much to our delight, is now a permanent part of the Amy’s team. She brightens the shop with her beautiful laugh and cheeky English humour. Emily brings international floral experience, a keen eye for detail and a talent for creating full, luscious flowers. Outside Amy’s, she loves adventuring around New Zealand with her partner and young baby.
Anita has more than 25 years of experience as a florist and is one of our most experienced team members. She has worked on high-profile events and brings extensive knowledge to everything she creates. Anita is an expert in customer service and in designing unique flowers for those one-off occasions. Away from Amy’s, her favourite thing is spending time with family and making special memories.
Kate is one of our senior florists and makes the most dreamy, delicious flowers. She has a natural talent for colour and design and has truly found her niche in floristry. Kate has a fantastic sense of humour and loves a well-placed dad joke. She has also been learning guitar, although the team is still waiting for its private concert.
Jamie-Leigh brings many years of New Zealand floristry experience to the Amy’s family. She has remained passionate about this wonderful industry while raising three young children. We love watching her create unique and beautiful preserved flowers, one of her favourite things to do. Jamie-Leigh balances work with being a devoted mum and caring for her young family.
Gina is an extremely talented and experienced florist. She qualified in Hamilton more than ten years ago and has worked and trained alongside some of the best. Gina is now studying accounting and works with us one day a week to keep her artistic side satisfied. Outside Amy’s, she loves the outdoors, going to the gym and good food.
Ros and her family made the brave decision to leave their home in South Africa and begin a new life in New Zealand. She has always had a passion for floristry and often helped with flowers for friends and family. Ros popped into the shop one day, and her passion and eagerness to learn won us over. She continues to develop her talents with the Amy’s team. When she is not here, Ros loves exploring New Zealand with her husband and children.
