From our garage to the North Island

Where it began

Amy’s Flowers began in 2010 in Amy and Ryan’s garage, with their young children underfoot and a simple belief: ordering flowers should feel personal, transparent and trustworthy.

From those early days, the business has steadily grown into one of New Zealand’s leading florists. Today, our specialist team creates beautiful bouquets for customers throughout the North Island, with overnight delivery available to many locations.

A proud early milestone

The care, creativity and hard work of those early years began to earn recognition. In 2015, just five years after Amy’s Flowers began in our garage, our team was named Retail Business of the Year at the Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards.

Flowers you can trust

One idea has remained at the heart of Amy’s Flowers from the beginning: every customer should be able to see what they are sending. That is why we photograph every completed order and email the image to the customer, free of charge.

Then Natalie changed everything

By 2018, Amy’s Flowers was growing quickly. It had momentum, a strong reputation and a talented team, but it needed the people-focused direction that would carry it confidently into the future. Then Natalie joined Amy and Ryan and became one of the best things ever to happen to the business. She brought clarity, energy and courage, but above all, unmatched people skills. Natalie has a rare gift for making staff and customers feel seen, valued and capable.

Natalie did far more than help the business grow. She cared for Amy’s Flowers as fiercely as Amy and Ryan did, and helped it become everything it was capable of being. She built an extraordinary team, lifted the standard of service and carried the responsibility of the business with enormous heart. Her leadership gave Amy and Ryan room to breathe, confidence in the future and the privilege of watching what they began flourish in someone else’s hands.

Amy’s Flowers would not be the business it is today without Natalie. We are proud of what she has built, grateful for every person she has encouraged and incredibly lucky that she chose to make this story her own. This is not simply a business Natalie helps to lead.
